Somatic Ecstatic Dance: The Myth of Separation. An evening to soften the edges of separation and return to what is alive in the body. Through guided somatic exploration and free, non-performative dance, we move between flow and resistance, intensity and stillness.

Somatic Ecstatic Dance

We begin in motion.
This evening opens the field and softens the habitual edges of separation held in the body. Through guided somatic exploration, free non-performative and non-choreographed dance, and a rich soundscape, we sense where life flows easily and where it meets resistance.
Intensity may rise. Ecstatic states may emerge. You’re invited to stay connected to sensation rather than pushing past it. Stillness, simplicity, and small movement are always welcome.

Come as you are. Move as what’s real. Let the body lead. Let the body speak.
